How to conduct our business

Be just in your dealings even if it cost you profit.

(Prov 16:8 NIV)  Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice.

(Prov 13:11 NIV)  Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Commit your plans to God.

(Prov 16:3 NIV)  Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

Be hardworking.

(Prov 14:23 NIV)  All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

Don’t forget to plan. Don’t act hastily.

(Prov 21:5 NIV)  The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

Get the advice of others before proceeding.

(Prov 15:22 NIV)  Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

Exercise due diligence.

(Prov 14:15 NIV)  A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps.

Beware of being the guarantor.

(Prov 11:15 NIV)  He who puts up security for another will surely suffer, but whoever refuses to strike hands in pledge is safe.

Do not have anything to do with bribes.

(Prov 17:23 NIV)  A wicked man accepts a bribe in secret to pervert the course of justice.
