Delcaration of Faith (Shahadah)

Uncategorized
Shahadah is a declaration of faith and trust that professes that there is only one God (Allah) and that Muhammad is God's messenger. This is normally recited in Arabic: 'La 'ilea-ha 'IL-all-laa-hu mu-ham-ma-door Ra-soo-lul-laah "I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except God and Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger." Reciting this statement in the presence of two witnesses seals the fact that you are a Muslim and there may be penalties in some countries if you want to leave the faith. Close window

Bible Texts Can Be Verified By Large Number Of Manuscripts

Uncategorized
The original New Testament text can be verified from a large number of manuscripts. The bibliographical test determines whether the copies we have are the same as the original. In the study of history, the closer a copy's date is to the original, and the greater the number of copies we have, the more confident we are that it is the same as the original.Let's examine briefly how we derive what we call history. In our schools, we are told of historical events that happened thousands of years ago and never learn to doubt them. How do people of this age know that those events actually occur? We are informed of the past events because they have been recorded down in one way or another and handed down to us. Many of…

Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? {6} But instead, one brother goes to law against another--and this in front of unbelievers! {7} The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already.
